Kornelia Jurkowiecka – The Passion of Creation

Kornelia Jurkowiecka, an artist by vocation, has been painting since childhood.

Her works have been shown in more than forty solo exhibitions across Poland and abroad. Audiences in England, France, Austria, Germany, Israel, Canada, the USA and many Polish cities have been captivated by the lyrical, fairytale quality of her paintings.

Her art reflects a deep fascination with nature, expressed in distinctive creative cycles such as:

• Flowers and Landscapes (watercolours)

• Wild Horses (mixed media)

• Eyes – Mirror of the Soul (mixed media)

• Abstracts

• Faces

• Humanised Birds

• and a special series of 22 paintings marking the 50th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, published in a bibliophile album by the Pomeranian Library in Szczecin, accompanied by the poetry of Barbara Dominiczak.
