"...Duke Bogusław, great and proud, possessed a spirit that he never lost in any circumstances," wrote Thomas Kantzow in his chronicle, depicting one of the most distinguished rulers of Pomerania - Bogusław X.
The outdoor exhibition dedicated to Bogusław X, prepared on the occasion of the 569th anniversary of his birth and the commemoration of the 500th anniversary of his death, presents, in 7 segments, the most interesting and significant historical facts. It covers his biography, embraced ideas, political actions, as well as relationships with other historical figures such as Jan Długosz, Emperor Maximilian I, and Pope Alexander VI Borgia.
The colourful iconography from the era - illustrations from the Lucerne Chronicle of 1513 - one of the most valuable artefacts documenting everyday life at the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries - brings the story of Duke Bogusław X to life.
