A new space at the Tworzę Się Gallery is an invitation to collectively design our immediate surroundings. It's an attempt to view the world from a child's perspective and an opportunity to construct their own microcosm.
The exhibition is like a large model, where you can walk, drive, rearrange, and design buildings, create spaces for relaxation and play, plant flowers, do shopping, and make decisions. A child is a natural-born architect. We've harnessed this ability and invited children to design the City of Dreams, a place that caters to the needs of the youngest.
The exhibition aligns with discussions about the future of the planet in the context of climate and migratory changes. It's an attempt to find necessary, wise solutions. It's also a place for asking questions and collectively devising solutions that prioritize the well-being of young residents, their rights to play and rest, living in a green, clean, and safe city. The mobility of the exhibition reflects the constant change that is a permanent feature of our rapidly evolving reality.
Exhibition creators: Karolina Gołębiowska, Katarzyna Mierzejewska, Dominika Wyrobek, Joanna Bronisławska, Agata Wolniewicz, Marek Mierzejewski, Remigiusz Suda, Marcin Strugliński, Paulina Ratajczak, and young people who submitted their works and ideas for the City of Dreams (not)competition.
