KAPELA DREWUTNIA presents the musical riches of the Eastern Borderlands of the Second Polish Republic, where the traditions of many national groups have intermingled for centuries.
The band draws its musical inspiration directly from this historical cultural melting pot, which has resulted in an extremely rich and diverse concert repertoire for the group, which has over 25 years of artistic experience.
One of the most popular programmes performed by Kapela DREWUTNIA for many years is ‘Lemko and Ukrainian Songs’, which consists of a large number of pieces belonging to the rich and extensive legacy of traditional songs, dance songs and kolomyikas from Ukraine, Podolia, the Eastern Carpathians/ Hutsul region and Lemko region. The concert in Szczecin will also feature Christmas carols and pastorals.
