MEISINGER SOLO is an artistic encounter with the classical guitar in its most intimate yet at the same time most virtuosic form. The evening’s programme showcases two of the artist’s solo albums, recorded for the prestigious Chandos Records label: Elogio de la Guitarra and Mistique.
Elogio de la Guitarra is a tribute to the classical guitar – its history, tone and expressive power – while Mistique reveals the instrument’s more atmospheric, reflective and emotional side. Both albums have been met with enthusiastic acclaim from international critics and audiences alike, confirming the artist’s exceptional standing on the world classical music stage.
