This year our city's residents can choose from 114 projects on the voting list (23 citywide projects and 91 local projects). 18 projects were withdrawn by their authors, and 55 were rejected.

Voting for projects submitted for the Szczecin Participatory Budget 2022 started on 23 November 2021, 9:00 a.m. sharp. Voting is open until 7 December, 9:00 a.m.
Every resident of Szczecin can participate in the voting in electronic or paper form, regardless of age and registered place of residence.
How to join
Voting for projects takes two forms:
- Electronic:
Electronic voting is managed by an IT system. Votes can be cast from any place at any time. All you need is Internet access.
- Paper:
Voting takes place through paper sheets, which should be completed and placed in a special box located in the Szczecin City Office at 1 Armii Krajowej Square or the City Office Branch at 39-40 Rydla Street.
Completed voting sheets can also be sent to the City Office to the address Plac Armii Krajowej 1, 70-456 Szczecin, or the City Office Branch to ul. Rydla 39-40, 70-783 Szczecin with an inscription on the envelope “Głosowanie SBO 2022.”
Voting sheets should reach the Office on the voting closing date at the latest.
Voting points arranged by the City Office:
- Szczecin City Office, 1 Armii Krajowej Square, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- City Office Branch, 39-40 Rydla Street, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Voting points arranges as part of the Szczecin Participatory Budget Academy:
- 28 November 2021, 10:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. - Bazar Smakoszy (Gourmet Market) (OFF Marina)
- 4-5 December 2021, 12:00 (noon) to 6:00 p.m. - Szczeciński Jarmark Bożonarodzeniowy (the Szczecin Christmas Fair)
The residents can also use the special voting bus – BUDŻETOBUS.
Voting sheets for projects submitted to the Szczecin Participatory Budget 2022 can be collected in voting points arranged by the City Office and as part of the Szczecin Participatory Budget Academy, or downloaded from the pliki do pobrania tab. [.pdf]
NOTE: Each person can cast 5 votes:
2 for citywide projects,
3 for local projects.
Remember! You can cast up to two votes for a single project (citywide or local).
In order for your vote to be valid, you need to cast at least 1 vote. Voting is not zoned – you can vote for projects located in all parts of the city.
THE VOTING SHEET IS INVALID IN THE FOLLOWING CASES:
(Most frequent errors)
- lack of the required signatures,
- not filling in obligatory entries,
- no X sign next to selected projects,
- choosing more projects in a given category than allowed,
- casting more votes for a single project than permitted,
- address of residence outside Szczecin,
- illegible entries,
- invalid PESEL [personal identification number].
You can only vote once! In the case of double voting – with the use of the paper sheet and in electronic form – the vote cast on paper will be considered invalid.
Projects with the highest number of votes in a given category – citywide or local – will be carried out, until the pool of funds in the given area is exhausted.
