More care places for the youngest children will be created in our City! All thanks to an EU project due to which parents of hundreds of toddlers will be able to return to work.

The creation of four public clubs for children is another measure of the City aimed at creating even more care places for children up to the age of 3. It will enable at least a hundred of parents or caretakers of the youngest residence of Szczecin to take up employment or return to work.

As part of the project, 100 new care places will be created. Some of them will be adapted to the needs of children with disabilities.

New facilities will be created in the following locations: 16 Piłsudskiego Street, 33 Łokietka Street, 31 Mazurska Street, 46 Wojska Polskiego Avenue.

Enrolment documentation are available from today on the website www.zespolzlobkow.szczecin.pl in the tab “EU projects”/ The clubs for children project. The enrolment will last until 31 July this year.

At the same time we would like to remind you that continuous enrolment is in progress in 2021 as the part of the remaining projects funded by the EU in municipal nurseries No. 2, 3, 4 and 6.

Support is available for parents/legal guardians of children up to the age of 3 living in Szczecin who belong to one of the following groups:

non-working persons (unemployed or professionally inactive), including those on parental leave, or working persons who currently (at the time of enrolment and until the day of signing the childcare contract) are on maternity or paternity leave.

The basic requirement to be able to participate in the project is that the parent/legal guardian of the child takes up employment or returns to work. In the case of the first group (non-working persons including those on parental leave), the participant has 3 months to take up employment. In the case of the second group (persons on maternity or paternity leave), the participant should return to work on the day of starting the child care in a nursery.

Importantly, in all RPO projects there is a priority of admission for people (parents/caretakers/) with disabilities.

You can find detailed information on the website of the Municipal Nursery Complex in Szczecin: www.zespolzlobkow.szczecin.pl
