Budgeting is one of the major challenges when planning an SBO (Szczecin Civic Budget) project. We’ll help you work it out! We’ll give you tips on how to use the SBO city price list, and where to look for price information. You’ll learn how detailed your cost estimate has to be and how it will be reviewed. Paulina Stok-Stocka will make sure to show you that budgeting for Szczecin Civic Budget projects is nothing to be afraid of.

 

HOW TO WRITE AN ACCESSIBLE PROJECT DESCRIPTION?

Already know what your project will be about? It’s time to describe it! Our last workshop will discuss how to write your application in a simple and memorable way. We’ll focus on selected parts of the Szczecin Civic Budget 2022 Application Form which are particularly important for the jury. Anna Tuderek will provide some insights on how to clearly formulate the title, description and rationale of the project so that they effectively showcase your idea.

As a reminder – all residents who have ideas about projects or actions which could be carried out in their neighbourhood, or city-wide, can already start preparing for the next edition of the Szczecin Civic Budget. This year’s Szczecin Civic Budget funding amounts to PLN 16,700,000. If you want some of this money to be spent on your local or city-wide project idea, you need to get at least ten 10 signatures in support of it, and submit your application to the City Hall within the specified time limit. The number of proposals you can submit is unlimited.

Projects can be:

- city-wide – projects available to residents of more than one district; 30% of funds have been set aside for them.

-local – 70% of funds have been set aside for them

     The funds have been divided between 22 local areas based on their population and area.

The applications can be submitted to 14 May 2021 (15:30) ELECTRONICALLY by logging in on www.sbo.szczecin.eu, or in person by filling in an entry form and submitting it in the City Hall or one of its branches.
