The season at Szczecin’s bathing places has begun. It will last until 5 September.
Probably everyone was looking forward to this day. The weather has been ordered, so… here we go! On Tuesday at Głębokie and Dziewoklicz bathing beaches, the bathing season begins. There will be lifeguards and also plenty of attractions.
Safety on Głębokie, as well as on Dziewoklicz, will be ensured by six lifeguards, the “Tarzania” rope park on Głębokie is already at your disposal. There is also a wake board park and canoe and boat rental. You can also use the sauna. Soon, a water park in the form of a giant bouncy castle should be ready. A similar park (a bouncy castle) will also appear on Dziewoklicz. All these attractions are provided by external entities.
One eating place will be available on Dziewoklicz, whereas on Głębokie there will be at least twice as many.
Admission tickets will cost 3 zlotys (discount tickets), and full-fare tickets will cost 7 zlotys. You can also purchase tickets via the mobile app Moblina Karta Miejska Szczecin (Mobile City Card).
“There will be 17 toilets available on Głębokie: 8 women’s, 8 men’s and 1 portable toilet – intended only for persons with disabilities,” said Andrzej Kus, the city spokesperson for municipal affairs and environmental protection. “The key to the toilet will be available at the ticket office. There will be 5 men’s and 5 women’s toilets on Dziewoklicz. There will also be a lockable portable toilet.
The bathing beaches will be available from 10 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week.
It is worth mentioning that the Arkonka swimming and recreation complex has also been operating since 1 June.
For admission tickets you will pay 5 zlotys (pensioners, disability pensioners, students up to 26 years of age, schoolchildren), a full-fare ticket will cost 15 zlotys. There is no time limit within this price. Parking costs 1 zloty per hour.
