Żagle 2021 on Chrobry Embankments (Wały Chrobrego): activity zones for everyone

Visitors to the Żagle 2021 event will be able to enjoy several activity zones, located on both sides of the Oder River. On Chrobry Embankments there will be, among others, a chantey and folk stage accompanied by sales stands, craft beer and a theme park.

The Żagle 2021 event cannot go on without chanteys! A chantey and folk stage set up by the Centaur Monument will be playing throughout the weekend. The biggest stars of Polish chantey, folk and blues music will perform on it.

“We have as many as 18 concerts scheduled!,” announced Celina Wołosz, Spokesperson for the Żegluga Szczecińska Turystyka Wydarzenie company. “There will be no shortage of classic Polish chantey music, such as Ryczące 20, EKT Gdyna and Perły i Łotry. The evening atmosphere will be warmed up by the Kraków Street Band and Bubliczki. Szczecin’s Dair and Serencza – an ensemble performing Lemko sounds – will also be featured.

The Craft Beer Zone is also going to be exciting. We have managed to invite over a dozen breweries from various regions, e.g. from Lubuskie or Wielkopolskie Voivodeships.

The Craft Beer Zone will become a paradise for beer lovers. Golden lager, dark wheat, a bold porter or maybe a non-alcoholic IPA – these and many other kinds of beer will be available in Admiralska Street. There, on the lawn, amidst marine decorations, you can rest, have a snack and do some shopping in the gadget store.

Remaining within the area of Chrobry Embankments, whose neighbouring alleys will be filled with sales stands, you will be able to purchase marine souvenirs, delicious dishes and original goods. Moreover, there will also be stands with clothes, gadgets, tourism offers and toys.

“Traditionally, during the event, Chrobry Embakments turn into the Alley of Artists, which for years has been bringing together artists who want to present their works and talents, creating unique handicrafts ,” said Celina Wołosz. “In the Alley of Artists, you can come across handicraft artists and other amateur or professional artists offering handmade products.

The Alley of Artists stands will be located in the alley running along Chrobry Embankments Street by the Maritime University building. This place is particularly liked by the visitors because of the beautiful view expanding from the Chrobry Embakments.

Also, a theme park will be open in Komandorskiej Street, with attractions such as merry-go-rounds and rollercoasters. Children will have at their disposal an enormous area with such attractions as bouncing castles and eurobungees.
