On Sunday, 19 September, a “Walk along the path of the Polish People’s Republic times” will take place, the route of which will run along Wojska Polskiego Avenue in Szczecin. The walk is one of many events accompanying this year’s edition of the Festival of Brands. Those interested may already sign up.
The walk is a humorous journey into the past. Away from the classic monuments, and closer to the socialist realist architecture and places where you would wait in long queues or listen to big-beat.
Justyna Machnik, the guide, will take you on a stroll along Wojska Polskiego Avenue, talk about Szczecin’s excellent goods and industrial plants from the People’s Poland era.
