The Tall Ships Races 2020 Regatta – POSTPONED

Due to the prevailing coronavirus pandemic, Sail Training International - the organizer of this year's regatta - has decided to postpone the event to next year.
A crew of over a hundred from our region was to take part in the regatta. The first stage of the competition was to begin in July.
- We already invite you to join the ranks of Szczecin's team during next year's The Tall Ships Races 2021 regatta, which will take place in the Baltic Sea - says Małgorzata Miszczuk, spokesperson of the Sailing Centre. - Szczecin will be the final port of this event for the fourth time. Big sailing ships will moor in the capital of West Pomerania between the 31st of July and the 3rd of August 2021.
In additiona, we would like to inform you that if the epidemiological situation allows it, we will organize regattas in the Baltic Sea on board of several Polish sailing ships. We plan that they will take place between the 17th and 28th of August 2020. We will inform you about the details at a later date.
