The Sailing Centre has just published the schedule of motorboat courses

For almost nine years, the Sailing Centre in Szczecin has been one of the largest centres organising motorboat helmsman courses in our region. Dozens of courses held and hundreds of motorboat helmsmen trained ‒ this has been possible thanks to a modern training base and experienced instructors.

The Sailing Centre has published the schedule of weekend courses to be held in 2023 on its website: centrumzeglarskie.pl:

- 7-9 July 2023 (organisational meeting ‒ 3 July 2023)

- 4-6 August 2023 (organisational meeting ‒ 31 July 2023)

- 25-27 August 2023 (organisational meeting ‒ 21 August 2023)

- 15-17 September 2023 (organisational meeting ‒ 11 September 2023)

- 6-8 October 2023 (organisational meeting ‒ 2 October 2023)

Please note that in order to obtain a motorboat helmsman’s licence, you need to:

- be at least 14 years old,

- provide the consent of both your parents if you are a minor,

- pass an examination

Holders of a motorboat helmsman’s licence are allowed to:

Operate motor yachts on inland waters without any limitation as to their length and up to 12 m in internal sea waters and other sea waters ‒ 2 nautical miles from the shore during daytime.

Persons under the age of 16 may operate motorboats with engines of up to 60 kW (80 KMech).
