Take part in the Tall Ships Races onboard Baltic Beauty

The second recruitment process to represent Szczecin at the Tall Ships Races 2022 is now open! The sailing ship BALTIC BEAUTY will start the regatta in two stages, with 38 participants on board. The ship will visit harbours in Esbjerg, Harlingen, Antwerp and Aalborg.

One crew to sail on Zryw has already been selected. Now it’s time to get the crew in the navy blue and maroon colours to join in. We are looking for 38 people to compete against other sailing ships with Baltic Beauty. The team will visit the ports of Esbjerg, Antwerp and Aalborg. The enrolment period runs until 15 June.

Świnoujście (Poland) - Esbjerg (Denmark) - Harlingen (Netherlands) - Antwerp (Belgium)	03.07.2022 – 22.07.2022
Antwerp (Belgium) - Aalborg (Denmark) - Świnoujście (Poland)	22.07.2022 – 10.08.2022

Before facing the waves, the sailors will undergo a series of training sessions and workshops. They will practise teamwork and learn the onboard regulations. The crew will learn about safety equipment and first aid rules. There will be plenty of artistic tasks to help promote Szczecin in a colourful way and encourage people to visit our city.

During the long hours at sea, the participants will not only learn the pleasures of sailing, but also - as rightful crew members - participate in navigational, boatswain’s, galley and gangway watches. There will also be the daily hard work on board.

The people we are looking for:

will be 15 years of age or older on 01.07.2022 (priority for recruitment will be given to those in the 15-25 age group),

live, work or study in Poland (priority in recruitment is given to candidates living, studying or working in Szczecin),

have artistic, sporting or sailing abilities and skills,

are responsible and committed to the work and activities undertaken,

are creative and open to people and the world,

have a conversational command of foreign languages,

are in good health,

have the ability to swim,

wish to experience an unforgettable sailing adventure.

We welcome both newcomers and experienced sailors!

The Project Organiser provides:

clothing for the Participants with the logo of the Tall Ships Races 2022 regatta,

chartering a vessel for the Cruise,

accommodation and meals on board during the Cruise,

transportation of Participants from Szczecin to the port of crew exchange (Antwerp) and back. The cost of transportation of the Project participant to Świnoujście (1st stage) and back from Świnoujście (2nd stage) is covered by the participant,

insurance during the Cruise in the scope of personal accident insurance, third party liability in private life, medical expenses abroad,

the supervision of minors.

Then click the ZGŁOŚ SIĘ (APPLY) button and follow the instructions,

Once you have created an account and completed your declaration, expect a return email approving your submission,

After receiving an e-mail approval, the declaration should be printed, signed, scanned and sent back to reprezentacja@centrumzeglarskie.pl or delivered to Centrum Żeglarskie, ul. Przestrzenna 19, 70-800 Szczecin by 16.06.2022 until 3 p.m.

After completing the online registration, the Organiser will select the composition of the Representation and will inform the participants by e-mail.
