      Szczecin’s Participatory Budget 2023: Become a project author, join the team!

      This year’s call for projects under the Participatory Budget is open until 30 June. Bring in your ideas! Candidates for the volunteer teams of Szczecin's Participatory Budget can submit their entries by 13 June. If you want to become a member of the Assessment or Appeals Team, make your submission today!

      Let us remind you that there is over 17 million of funds available. All you need to do is to have an idea for an investment project or action in the local or city-wide area, collect a minimum of 10 signatures on the support list and submit your proposal to the Town Hall by the specified deadline. Each resident may submit an unlimited number of proposals.

      This year’s amount for Szczecin Participatory Budget projects is PLN 17,520,000.

      The projects can be:

      - city-wide - involving residents of more than one city district, with 30% of the funds allocated.

      - local - for which 70% of the funds are earmarked.

           The allocation of funds was distributed among 22 local areas.

      Applications can be submitted until 30 June 2022 (by 3:30 p.m.) by ELECTRONIC means by logging on to www.sbo.szczecin.eu, or traditionally by completing a paper application form and submitting it to the City Hall office or branch.

      Become part of the team!

      Residents, members of housing estate boards and NGOs are invited to participate in the work of volunteer teams of Szczecin’s Participatory Budget 2023. 

      The call for candidates is open until 13 June 2022. The main task of team members will be to assess Participatory Budget projects and approve the voting list as well as consider appeals submitted by project authors. As part of their volunteering work, the members will read the applications and give their assessments during online meetings, which are to take place on working days in afternoon hours.

      The Assessment Team will include residents, NGO members and housing estate council members.

      The Appeals Team will be composed of authors of winning Participatory Budget projects and residents.

      The deadline for submitting entries is 13 June 2022.
