SPB 2022 “Design the future of the City” -  File an application and take part in the Academy.

The call for projects in this years’ edition of the Szczecin Participatory Budget is under way. The residents have time to submit their ideas by 14 May, and tomorrow, at 5:00 p.m. they will have the chance to take part in the second online meeting as part of the SPB Academy.

This time, the organisers will try to answer residents’ questions about how to prepare an application as part of SPB 2022. The meeting will be hosted by Paulina Stok-Stocka - project manager, fundraiser and organiser of cultural events.

      Tuesday, 20 April 2021, 5:00 p.m.

You can register for the workshops via the SPB Academy website:  https://www.akademiasbo.szczecin.pl/wydarzenia/warsztaty

The website run by the SPB Academy also allows appointments for individual consultations concerning given projects - you can book one of the available dates of online meetings, using the registration form at: https://www.akademiasbo.szczecin.pl/wydarzenia/konsultacje

Due to the applicable sanitary restrictions, the activities as part of the SPB Academy are for the second time carried out mostly remotely. Information about all completed and planned forms of support for applicants can be found on the Academy's website:  https://www.akademiasbo.szczecin.pl/

As a reminder: Residents who have an idea for an investment or activity in their neighbourhoods or for the entire city may prepare to take part in the latest edition of the Szczecin Participatory Budget. The total amount of funds allocated for this year’s SPB projects is PLN 16 700 000. To take part in distributing the funds, all you need is an idea for a local or city-wide investment or activity, collect a minimum of 10 signatures on the support list, and file your application with the City Office within the set time limit.  Each resident may submit an unlimited number of proposals.

      The projects may be

      - city-wide - those to be used by the residents of more than one district, for which 30% of funds has been allocated.

      - local - for which 70% of funds has been allocated.

The funds have been divided between 22 local areas, based on the number of their residents and area.

Applications may be filed by 14 May 2021 (3:30 p.m.) via electronic means of communication, by logging in the www.sbo.szczecin.eu website, or traditionally by filling in an application form and submitting it at the City Office or in one of its local offices.
