Significant changes in municipal transport in the Dobra Commune

The May weekend will surprise passengers from the Dobra Commune with new bus lines provided in response to the requests received from residents and social consultations carried out by the Commune authorities. The routes and numbers of bus lines will change as of 1 May. For most lines, a cyclical and easy-to-remember timetable will be introduced to facilitate transfers and journey planning.

Each line will offer connections with Szczecin tram lines at one of the transfer nodes:

- Głębokie (Lines 221 and 227),

- Krzekowo (Lines 222, 225 and 227),

- Wernyhory (Lines 222, 225 and 227),

- Gumieńce (Lines 223, 224 and 226).

 

• Line 221: Głębokie – Sławoszewo (previously line 121). The route will run from the “Głębokie” bus and tram terminus (the stop of tram lines 9 and 12, as well as bus lines 51, 103 and 106) via Kupczyka Street, Wołczkowo, Dobra and Grzepnica, to Sławoszewo. Buses will no longer run on shortened routes to Grzepnica. On weekdays, buses will depart every 30 minutes during rush hours and every 60 minutes outside rush hours. At weekends, they will depart every 60–120 minutes.

 

• Line 222: Kościno – Łukasińskiego Ogrody – Mierzyn Szkoła (previously line 122). Line 222 buses from the terminus in Kościno to Szkolna Street in Bezrzecze will initially run along the route of previous line 122, and then will continue via Modra and Koralowa Streets to Krzekowo where passengers will have an option to change to tram lines 5 and 7. Further on, the route will run via Klonowica and Wernyhory Streets (connections with lines 5, 7, 53, 60, 75 and 80), and then via Łukasińskiego Street to the “Łukasińskiego Ogrody” terminus. On school days, some buses will run on extended routes ‒ via Nasienna Street in Mierzyn to the “Mierzyn Szkoła” terminus. Buses will depart every 60 minutes on all days of the week.
• Line 223: Gumieńce – Dobra Rondo – Stolec (previously line 123). Line 223 buses will depart from the “Gumieńce” bus and tram terminus, providing connections with tram lines 8 and 10, as well as bus lines 88 and 244. Buses will run through Mierzyn, Skarbimierzyce and Dołuje, to the roundabout in Lubieszyn. At the roundabout, they will turn around and continue along Graniczna Street to the roundabout in Dobra. There, a new section of the route will begin – public transport will be provided along Sportowa Street in Dobra, where new stops will be established: “Dobra Sportowa” (a bus stop on demand) – at the junction with Szczecińska Street, and “Dobra Konwaliowa” (a bus stop on demand) – at the junction with Konwaliowa Street. Buses will run via Sportowa Street to Buk, from where the route will be identical to that of previous line 123 leading to Stolec. On all days of the week, buses will depart every 60 minutes, but on weekdays outside rush hours and at weekends throughout the day, every second bus will run on a shortened route from Gumieńce to the roundabout in Dobra (so, buses will reach Stolec every 120 minutes). Additionally, some buses will go to the market place in Lubieszyn.
• Line 224: Gumieńce – Mierzyn Pod Lipami (previously line 124). The route will remain unchanged – buses will depart from the “Gumieńce” terminus (connections with lines 8, 10, 88 and 244) and will run via Welecka and Długa Streets in Mierzyn to the Pod Lipami housing estate. The return journey will take place via Zeusa, Lubieszyńska and Welecka Streets. Buses will depart every 30 minutes on weekdays during rush hours, and every 60 minutes outside rush hours and at weekends.

 

• Line 225: Klonowica Zajezdnia – Dobra Osiedle (previously line 105). The route will run from the “Klonowica Zajezdnia” stop, through Wernyhory and Żołnierska Streets (return via Klonowica Street), and further through Szeroka, Modra, Koralowa, Bezrzecze, Wołczkowo and Dobra, to the “Dobra Osiedle” terminus. The “Krzekowo” stop will provide connections to tram lines 5 and 7, and the “Klonowica Zajezdnia” stop will provide connections to bus lines 53, 60, 75 and 80. Buses will depart every 15 minutes on weekdays during rush hours, every 30 minutes outside rush hours, and every 60 minutes at weekends.

 

• Line 226: Gumieńce – Lubieszyn Rondo – Lubieszyn Granica (previously line 108). The route will remain unchanged and will run from the “Gumieńce” terminus (connections with lines 8, 10, 88 and 244) via Mierzyn, Skarbimierzyce and Dołuje, to the “Lubieszyn Rondo” terminus, with some buses running on extended routes to the “Lubieszyn Granica” terminus. Additionally, some buses will run to the market place in Lubieszyn. Busses will depart every 20-40 minutes on weekdays during rush hours, and every 60 minutes outside rush hours and at weekends.

 

• Line 227: Głębokie – Łukasińskiego Ogrody – Mierzyn Szkoła (previously line 74). The line will provide residents of the Dobra Commune with an additional connection to the “Głębokie” transfer node (tram lines 9 and 12, and bus lines 51, 103 and 106). From Głębokie, buses will run via Kupczyka Street and Wołczkowo (Słoneczna Street) to Bezrzecze, and further along the route of previous line 74 to the “Łukasińskiego Ogrody” terminal. In Krzekowo, passengers will have an option to change to tram lines 5 and 7, and at the “Klonowica Zajezdnia” stop ‒ to bus lines 53, 60, 75 and 80. On school days, some buses will run on extended routes ‒ via Nasienna Street in Mierzyn to the “Mierzyn Szkoła” terminal. Buses will depart every 60 minutes on all days of the week.

 

• Line 535: Klonowica Zajezdnia – Stolec. The route will partially change ‒ buses will no longer run to the “Dobra Osiedle” bus stops. Instead, they will be directed along Sportowa Street in Dobra. New stops will be established jointly for this line and line 223, including “Dobra Sportowa”, “Dobra Konwaliowa” and “Łęgi Zachodnia”. The frequency of bus service will not change.

The rules of using one-line season tickets until the expiry of their validity

1. Passengers holding season tickets for line 74 are also entitled to travel on line 227 and on all other lines along the sections that overlap with the line 227 route.
2. Passengers holding season tickets for line 105 are also entitled to travel on line 225 and on all other lines along the sections that overlap with the line 225 route.
3. Passengers holding season tickets for line 108 are also entitled to travel on line 226 and on all other lines along the sections that overlap with the line 226 route.
4. Passengers holding season tickets for line 121 are also entitled to travel on line 221 and on all other lines along the sections that overlap with the line 221 route.
5. Passengers holding season tickets for line 122 are also entitled to travel on line 222 along the entire route, and on all other lines along the sections that overlap with the routes of previous line 122 and new line 222.
6. Passengers holding season tickets for line 123 are also entitled to travel on line 223 along the entire route, and on all other lines along the sections that overlap with the routes of previous line 123 and new line 223.
7. Passengers holding season tickets for line 124 are also entitled to travel on line 224 and on all other lines along the sections that overlap with the line 224 route.
