Serbska St. is due to be closed for traffic on Wednesday. A diversion will be set along Harcerzy St., from Słowiańska St. to Arkońska St. The contractor is obliged to ensure pedestrian access to real properties during the entire period of construction works.
The contractor has already removed the old road surface (left lane). This part is covered by works related to the development of protection of the existing electric wiring owned by ENEA Operator. After introducing the next traffic arrangement stage, the contractor is due to begin the redevelopment of the existing water-supply infrastructure.
“As part of the task, we are planning to redevelop Serbska St. which includes the replacement of the road paving, downgrades, the construction of pavements and parking spaces, along with the adjustment of underground facilities and lighting,” said Hanna Pieczyńska, spokesperson of ZDiTM (Roads and Public Transport Authority). “The redevelopment will provide 26 public parking spaces, 3 parking spaces for persons with disabilities and 3 spaces for taxi cabs.
The total value of the project is PLN 1,275,175.96. The contractor, ELBUD Szczecin Sp. z o.o., has five months to perform the works.
