The 16th edition of the Rose Garden of Arts ‒ a periodic event that is much-loved and appreciated by the residents ‒ is about to start. The garden at Pawła Jasienicy Street in Szczecin will feature concerts, social dancing and a reading room. This year’s edition will begin on Sunday, 2 July, by celebrating the City’s Birthday.
Concerts
We warmly invite you to open-air concerts every Sunday in July and August at noon in the Rose Garden. Artists from the Szczecin, as well as those representing the national and international music scene, will perform. The programme includes classical, jazz and pop music standards.
Social dancing in the Rose Garden
Much-loved by the residents of Szczecin, open-air social dancing is back. During this year’s dance meetings, we will be partying to the rhythms of both native pop music and world hits. We meet on the dance floor on Sundays: 2 July at 4.00-7.00 p.m., and on 16 and 30 July at 5.00-8.00 p.m.
The Rose Garden Reading Room is an open-air free book zone. Anyone visiting the Rose Garden will be allowed to leave, take or read a book on the spot. We INVITE you to the open-air reading room every day!
