More changes as part of the Track revolution

This Saturday, the contractor will enter the next stage of works as part of the Track Revolution. This will cause difficulties for drivers in the city centre and changes on several tram and bus lines.
As part of the next phase of works, track works on the tram track along Kwiatowa Avenue will be completed. The works will still be continued along Matejki Street and in Niebuszewo. On Saturday, May 29, the contractor will start work on the tracks:
- on Matejki Street on the northern side of the intersection with Piłsudskiego Street,
- along Piłsudskiego Street on the section from Rodła Square to Matejki Street
- on Rodła Square, with the exception of the turning route used by tram line No. 12
- along Wyzwolenia Avenue between Żołnierza Square and Rodła Square
- along Niepodległości Avenue between Bogurodzicy Street and Żołnierza Square
TRAFFIC ORGANISATION The changes introduced in the previous stage will still apply:
- The western roadway of Matejki Street on the section from Piłsudskiego Street to Żołnierza Square will remain closed
- The tram track on the section from Piłsudskiego Street to Żołnierza Square will remain closed
- at the northern entrance of the Matejki - Piłsudskiego intersection the right lane will be excluded; due to the closure of the straight roadway, the left turn will take place along two lanes
- at the entrance from Piłsudskiego Street, traffic segregation will be changed, the left lane will be used to turn left for all vehicles, the middle lane will be used to turn left by public transport buses, while the right lane will be used to turn around public transport buses (lines C, G and H, using the stop bay at this entrance)
Further changes to be introduced comprise:
- at the southern entrance of the Matejki-Piłsudskiego intersection, it will be possible to turn left from only one lane
- at the southern entrance of the Matejki-Piłsudskiego intersection, driving straight will be possible from only one lane
- northern roadway along Żołnierza Square on the section from Królewska Gate to Wyzwolenia Avenue will be opened for traffic, while at the entrance to Wyzwolenia Avenue, only the right turn will be made available
- the possibility of single lane passage from Niepodległości Avenue in the direction of Rodła Square will be restored
- on Rodła Square, the eastern passage along Wyzwolenia Avenue will be excluded from traffic due to the fact that from the side of Wyzwolenia Avenue (southern entrance), it will only be possible to turn right, while at the entrance of Piłsudskiego Avenue from the side of Grunwaldzki Square, going straight ahead and turning right will be available for traffic
- on the eastern roadway of Wyzwolenia Avenue between Bogurodzicy Street and Rodła Square, the left lane adjacent to the track will be closed for traffic
- on the western roadway of Niepodległości Avenue between Żołnierza Square and Bogurodzicy Street the left lane adjacent to the tram track will be closed for traffic
- on the northern and southern roadway of Piłsudskiego Avenue, between Rodła Square and Matejki Street, the left lanes adjacent to the tram track will be closed for traffic
- the traffic lights setting at the intersection of Hołdu Pruskiego Square will be changed
- the traffic lights setting at the intersection of Piłsudskiego - Matejki Streets will continue to function in accordance with the changes introduced in the previous stage
- the traffic lights setting at the intersection of Żołnierza Square will be changed
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
- The tram traffic on the section of Portowa Gate – Rodła Square – Dubois Street will be stopped.
- Line 1 trams will run according to a special timetable between Głębokie – Rodła Square - Las Arkoński (Arkoński Forest) – Pogodno Depot (selected shortened courses to Las Arkoński, external track), without frequency changes.
- Tram lines 2, 3 and 4 become suspended.
- Line 5 trams will run according to a special timetable between Krzekowo - Rodła Square - Las Arkoński (external track), without frequency changes.
- Line 6 trams will run on a fixed route according to a special timetable without frequency changes.
- Line 7 trams will run along a fixed route:
- on weekdays according to a special timetable with a frequency of 4-8 minutes at peak times, unchanged off-peak;
- on Saturdays without frequency changes;
- on public holidays without frequency changes.
- Line 8 trams will run along a fixed route according to a special timetable, without frequency changes. - Line 10 trams will run along the current route (Gumieńce Park – Potulicka Street) according to a special timetable, without frequency changes.
- Line 11 trams will run according to a special timetable between Ludowa - Jana z Kolna - Wyszyńskiego - Krzywoustego Streets – Pomorzany district, without frequency changes.
- Line 12 trams will run along the current route (Las Arkoński - Pomorzany) according to a special timetable, without changing the frequency.
SUBSTITUTE COMMUNICATION
A substitute bus transport with line 835 will be launched in relation to the Main Railway Station (Dworzec Główny) – Nowa Street – Portowa Gate – Niepodległości Avenue - Wyzwolenia Avenue - Piłsudskiego Street (back along Malczewskiego Street) – Malczewskiego Street – Parkowa Street – Dubois Street – Szczecin Shipyard (Stocznia Szczecińska).
The following stops will be launched along the route:
- Main Railway Station (No. 22511) - final and starting stop, shared with line 70 towards Pargowo,
- Tobrucki Square (No. 22611, 22612) - the existing stops of line 3,
- Portowa Gate (No. 10814) towards the Szczecin Shipyard - located along Niepodległości Avenue next to the KFC restaurant,
- Portowa Gate (No. 10812) towards the Main Railway Station - a stop at the tram track, the previous stop of line 3,
- Żołnierza Polskiego Square (No. 11330) towards the Szczecin Shipyard – located along Niepodległości Avenue next to property 32–33,
- Żołnierza Polskiego Square (No. 11311) towards the Main Railway Station - shared with lines 86, 522, 529, 531 and 532,
- Rodła Square (nr 11531) towards the Szczecin Shipyard – located along Wyzwolenia Avenue next to the Orange showroom,
- Rodła Square (No. 11510) towards the Main Railway Station - located along Wyzwolenia Avenue before the intersection with Piłsudskiego Street,
- Matejki Street (No. 13131, 13121) - shared with line 525,
- Parkowa Street (No. 13221, 13211) - shared with line 525,
- Dubois Street (No. 13312, 13332) - shared with line 525,
- Antosiewicza Street (No. 16511) towards the Szczecin Shipyard - shared with lines 6, 11, 53, 60, 67, 525 and 526,
- Szczecin Shipyard (No. 16421) - final and starting stop, in front of the control room.
Selected courses will be carried out along the extended route to/from the "Ludowa" terminus. In this section, the bus will go along the following streets: Nocznickiego, Stalmacha, Druckiego-Lubeckiego, Ludowa (back along Blizińskiego).
The following stops will be launched along:
- Lubeckiego Street (No. 16312, 16311) - shared with lines 6, 11, 67, 525 and 526,
- Remontowa Shipbuilding at request (No. 15911) towards Ludowa Street - shared with lines 11, 67 and 80,
- Lubeckiego Viaduct (No. 16211) towards the Main Railway Station - common with lines 67 and 80,
- Ludowa (No. 16031) - final and starting stop, internal platform of the terminus. Vehicles will run with the following frequency:
- on weekdays: until 6:00 am every 7-8 minutes, until 20 every 6 minutes, after 20:00 every 10 minutes,
- on Saturdays until 9:00 am and after 6:00 p.m. every 10 minutes, otherwise every 6 minutes,
- on public holidays until 11:00 am and after 6:00 p.m. every 12 minutes, otherwise every 10 minutes.
Bus lines A, B, C, G, H, 522, 529, 531 and 532 between the stops "Portowa Gate" and "Rodła Square" in the direction of Rodła Square will run towards Żołnierza Polskiego Square, Hołdu Pruskiego Square and Matejki Street.
The "Rodła Square" terminal stop for the A line will be located at the entrance to the Radisson Blu hotel (previously the terminal stop of the G line, No. 11521). The stop at the "Rodła Square" along Wyzwolenia Avenue (towards the right bank, No. 11535).
The "Rodła Square" stop for line B towards Arkońskie Estate will be located next to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) building (previously the terminal stop of line 107, No. 11523).
The "Rodła Square" terminal stop for lines C and H will be located next to the Social Insurance Institution building (the current terminal stop of line 107, No. 11523). The stop at the "Rodła Square" stop along Wyzwolenia Avenue (towards the right bank, No. 11535).
The "Rodła Square" terminal stop for the G line will be located at the A, B, C and H line stop along Wyzwolenia Avenue (No. 11535). There is no stop at the entrance to the Radisson Blu Hotel. The "Rodła Square" stop for lines 522 and 532 towards Warszewo, Rostocka Street, Osów Estate and Arkońskie Estate will be located next to the building of the Social Insurance Institution (the previous terminal stop of line 107, No. 11523).
The "Rodła Square" terminal stop for line 529 will be located at the Social Insurance Institution building (the current terminal stop of line 107, No. 11523).
The stop at the "Rodła Square" stop remains unchanged along Wyzwolenia Avenue (towards Krzekowo and Jaworowa, No. 11535). The "Rodła Square" stop for line 531 towards Krzekowo will be located along Piłsudskiego Street for "Rodła Square" (line 70 stop towards the Town Hall, No. 11543).
Line 90 buses between the stops "Portowa Gate" and "Lotników Square" in the direction of the Town Hall will run towards Zwycięstwa Square, Świętego Wojciecha Street and Jagiellońska Street excluding Żołnierza Polskiego Square.
The "Portowa Gate" stop will be moved to the common platform with lines 9, 10, 61 and 87 towards Zwycięstwa Square (No. 10832). Additionally, the "Zwycięstwa Square" stop (No. 10711) will be launched, shared with lines 61, 75 and 87.
The Żołnierza Polskiego Square stop (No. 11332) will be suspended. The direction of turning around for line 107 will be reversed in the area of Rodła Square - from the "Matejki" stop toward Malczewskiego Street, Wyzwolenia Street, Rodła Square, Piłsudskiego Street, Matejki Street to the "Matejki" stop.
The final stop will be located along Piłsudskiego Street along the section between the intersections with Wyzwolenia Avenue and Roosevelt Street, next to the KFC restaurant (No. 11529). Line 107 will not serve the "Malczewskiego" stop.
