Microgrants 2. A contest for an artistic concept
Marta Kufel

The second edition of the co-financing programme for Szczecin-based artists who are facing a difficult economic situation owing to the COVID-19 pandemic has been launched.
Following the success of the first edition held in spring, Szczecin, as one of the first cities in Poland, is launching the second edition, and continues to support local artists.
The purpose of the contest, organised by the TRAFO Centre for Contemporary Art in Szczecin and financed by the City of Szczecin, is to create a database of artistic concepts which can potentially be used by cultural institutions of Szczecin in the future. The condition for taking part in the contest is to present an idea of an art project which may be implemented using any available media, in any disciplines of contemporary art.
The organisers will allocate a total of PLN 120 000, and around 30 artists will benefit from the support.
Submission should be sent between 20 November 2020 and 30 November 2020, midnight, to the e-mail address: mikrogranty@trafo.art.
For more information on the contest please refer to the attached Rules & Regulations; the required documents to be filed with your submission can be downloaded from TRAFO’s website: https://trafo.art/mikrogranty-2-dla-szczecinskich-artystow/
