Made in Szczecin = Well done. The application process has started

In 2021, certificates of the "Made in Szczecin" brand will be awarded for the fifth time. They will be given to entrepreneurs who focus on the high quality of their products or services and – owing to that – have a positive influence on the image of the city. The application process will last until 31 August.

Since 2018, during the four editions of the competition, the "Made in Szczecin" certificate has been awarded to 59 entrepreneurs. They include, among others, craftspeople, IT companies, entities operating in the cosmetics industry, restaurants, confectioneries, clothing companies and a bedding manufacturer, a music label, a brewery and a coffee roasting company. “The reputation of the "Made in Szczecin" brand is proved by its laureates,” says the President of Szczecin, Piotr Krzystek. “We are proud that in Szczecin and its vicinity we have so many entrepreneurs who not only identify with our city, but also co-create it and, above all, always bet on quality. Also in these exceptional, difficult times.”

The brand is also appreciated by the laureates themselves. The Ministry of Good Soap (Ministerstwo Dobrego Mydła) and the Crown 1912 Coffee Roasting House (Palarnia Kawy Korona 1912) are among them. “We were very pleased to take part in the "Made in Szczecin" competitio, because it allowed us to emphasize that we produce locally, and not in Warsaw as has been the common belief. Thanks to the competition our brand became recognisable in the region,” says Aleksandra Pazura-Kamińska from the Ministry of Good Soap. “We are very proud of the "Made in Szczecin" award. This award definitely makes our product attractive for local contractors! It also gives us the opportunity to take part in many interesting events, such as fairs and festivals in the city centre, and the Szczecin City Hall supports us in our activities. The "Made in Szczecin" label increases the prestige of our products as made by local entrepreneurs, and it gives us credibility in the eyes of our customers. Now we can identify even more with the city we come from,” says Rafał Podemski, a member of the company's Management Board.
