Get moving during the summer holidays

59 outdoor gyms, 30 sports fields, 13 recreational glades – that is the arsenal of free outdoor facilities, which are at the disposal of Szczecin’s residents to actively spend their time outside.
The upcoming holidays are an excellent opportunity to take care of your health, fitness and well-being. It can be achieved by doing sports, which, like many other areas of life during the pandemic, has been off the radar. It is high time to change that! In order to do that, you can make use of the recreational facilities in our city.
Sports fields
School sports fields of the “Orlik” type can be used by organised groups. Registration, conducted by activity organisers, is obligatory. The list of facilities and contact details are available at: orliki.szczecin.pl.
Recreational glades
There are ten recreational glades on the left bank of Szczecin. These are: Polana Czerwona by the Arkonka Complex, Polana nad Goplaną by Lake Goplana, Polana Biała, Miodowa and Sportowa by Miodowa Street, Polana Harcerska behind Dolina Siedmiu Młynów, Polana Kupczyka Mała by ppłk. Kupczyka Street, Polana Nad Jeziorem Głębokim, Sosnowa, Bagienna Olszyna near Głębokie Lake.
The remaining three recreational glades are located on the Right Bank. These are: Klęskowo Forest Park by Pszenna Street, Polana Słoneczna by Kopalniana Street and Polana Widko, which is located between the Kopalniana and Grabowa Streets.
Outdoor gyms
Outdoor gyms with a variety of exercise equipment are scattered around the city. They can be found in the centre as well as on the outskirts of the city. A detailed list is available in the appendix.
