Dangerous bacteria in the Arkonka pools

Arkonka will be closed until further notice. The bacteria can be very dangerous, especially for immunocompromised people.
During the morning water inspections in the pools, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, the blue pus bacterium was detected. Out of concern for the safety of Arkonka’s guests, the facility has been closed until further notice.
Water chlorination has already been increased due to the hazard.
“After this process, the inspection will be carried out again by the sanitary and epidemiological station – said Andrzej Kus, the city’s Spokesperson for Municipal Affairs and Environmental Protection. “Only when the station confirms that it is safe to bathe, the facility will be made available to the residents again.
