Coronavirus #89 – nurseries during the summer break
Robert Duchowski

During the summer break, the youngest residents of Szczecin will be able to take advantage of public nursery care. However, please keep in mind the limitations of an ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
As in the case of kindergartens and kindergarten departments, there will still be a limit on places in individual groups. According to government guidelines, a maximum of 12 children will be allowed in each of them. Various restrictions will also apply and procedures will be implemented in relation to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. In order to ensure the highest possible safety not only for the youngest inhabitants of Szczecin, but also for their families and employees of individual units, it is necessary to maintain an increased sanitary regime and comply with the highest precautions.
The summer day care in nurseries will be available for children whose parents don’t have the possibility to provide such a care. According to ministerial recommendations, children of health care workers, uniformed services, persons performing tasks related to the prevention and control of coronavirus as well as trade and production employees will be accepted first.
Parents who are interested in sending their child to a nursery in the summer break should contact the directors of the facilities their children attend every day. In the case of children from nurseries which will be out of service due to renovations (facilities No. 1, 7, 9), individual procedures will be used. The directors of these units will provide details.
