Coronavirus #74 - summary of the week

An important decision for parents of the youngest citizens of Szczecin and gradual "defrosting" of individual spheres of social life - these are the next activities of the City related to the epidemic. Below we present an overview of the most important information of the past week.
1. Opening of nurseries and kindergartens
- On the 12th of May, the first two nurseries will open: No. 2 (ul. Kostki Napierskiego 6c) and No. 8 (ul. Niedziałkowskiego 49), and on May 18 the first group of kindergartens will resume operations
- in the following weeks, further institutions will be gradually opened
- due to numerous restrictions and safety procedures, a maximum of 12 children will be allowed in each group
2. BikeS is back after the viral break
- there are 350 bicycles available in the city cetre and 170 on the right bank of the city
- the most often touched elements of the bikes will be disinfected during repairs and transport
- users are asked to use disposable gloves
3. The sports fields are open again
- all “orlik” pitches and several sports facilities (e.g. tennis courts) and the open air part of the Sailing Centre are already operating
- the Rehabilitation and Biological Renewal Department on SDS (Szczecin Sport House) is also open
- special security rules apply everywhere
4. Good news for readers
- The Municipal Public Library in Szczecin resumed operations
- it is only possible to borrow and return books and CDs
- the use of reading rooms and computer workstations has been suspended until further notice
5. Correspondence box for customers
- the location of the special inbox, through which residents can submit applications in official matters has changed.
- the correspondence box is located in the vestibule of the left wing of the magistrate (in the former seat of the Szczecin Concert Hall)
- the mailbox is available to customers from Monday to Friday between 7.30-15.30
