Coronavirus #71 – correspondence box for the residents

The location of the special correspondence box, in which residents can submit applications and other documents regarding official matters, changes. On the 7^th of May 2020 the box will be moved to the left wing of the magistrate.

The new location of the correspondence box is associated with concern for the safety of residents. Due to the lifting of some restrictions on movement by the government, more and more people began to come to the magistrate in official matters. In order to limit the accumulation of customers who are waiting for the entrance to the Customer Service Office room and those who come to put the application into the box, it was decided to move the it to the opposite wing of the magistrate.

From the 7^th of May 2020 (Thursday), the correspondence box will be located in the vestibule in front of the Debate Room of the City Council (the wing where M. Karłowicz Concert Hall used to be). In addition, printouts of the most popular forms, pens and envelopes will also be available there. The box will be available to customers from Monday to Friday between 7.30 and 15.30.

 

Below you find a list of examples of official matters that can be dealt with by putting a request to the correspondence box:

- registration matters

- adding to the voter list

- certificates from the population register

- applications for permission to sell alcohol,

- applications for taxi licenses and transport permits,

- change of correspondence address,

- applications for copies of a register office record,

- transcription of a foreign register office record,

- straightening and completing a register office record,

- certificate of civil status

- vehicle registration

- issuing for driving license (including loss, change of validity, change of personal data)
