Coronavirus #70 – sports fields are open again

As announced earlier, Szczecin 'orlik' pitches, a dozen or so selected sports facilities, restoration and rehabilitation rooms on SDS, as well as an outdoor part of the Sailing Centre are open. Special safety rules apply there.

For several days, the facilities were being prepared for opening, but for legal resumption during the epidemic, it was necessary for the state authorities to publish an appropriate legal basis. The Regulation of the Council of Ministers appeared in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Poland on the 2nd of May 2020 and thus opening these complexes for users has been formally sanctioned.

The Rehabilitation and Biological Renewal Department in the Szczecin Sports House opens reservations for therapeutic procedures on the phone number 91 312 32 47. All services, except for relaxing massages and hydrotherapy, will be provided. The saunas and gym are closed until further notice.

Due to the ongoing epidemic, access to the said facilities will be limited (max. 6 people on the fields and stadiums; max. 4 people for the tennis court; max. 2 people for water sports equipment), and users will have to apply safety rules: maintaining social distance, covering the face (when reaching a given sports facility, while staying on e.g. a pitch, there is no obligation to cover the faces), verification of participants (reporting to the administrator of persons entering the facility, no use of the cloakroom and sanitary facilities (except toilets), disinfection of devices after each use and each group, mandatory hand disinfection when entering and leaving the facility, use of personal training equipment or disinfection after each use.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that the details of the principles of operating individual "Orliks" should be determined individually at the school at which this type of facility operates.
