Coronavirus #51 - „NGO for Szczecin, Szczecin for NGO”

The City of Szczecin has launched a special budget of 100 000 PLN to finance or co-finance Szczecin civic initiatives of various nature: educational, cultural, artistic, social, ecological and sport ones, to help mitigate the effects of a coronavirus pandemic.
The common denominator of the "NGO for Szczecin, Szczecin for NGO" subsidy project is safety increase, help and support for residents and local communities in dealing with the consequences of the epidemic. In addition, the project aims to build and strengthen local identity, promote mutual help, sharing experience, knowledge and good practice as well as inspire others to act and integrate individual groups of city residents.
The grant for the implementation of the task will be granted at the request of the non-governmental organization, bypassing the open competition of offers, in the so-called a small subsidy in accordance with the Ordinance of the Mayor No. 545/19 of 23rd of December 2019 on the principles of financial cooperation between the City of Szczecin with non-governmental organizations and other entities conducting public benefit activities.
The call for proposals will start on the 15th of April 2020. Applications will be processed in the order in which they are received, until the budget is spent.
