Christmas magic in downtown Szczecin. Here are the first details.

This year's Szczecin Christmas Fair will take place in four locations. 

Christmas is coming near, but before the holiday you can enjoy an amazing event in downtown Szczecin. The next Szczecin Christmas Fair will start on 2 December.

This year’s edition will be special in many respects. There will be more exhibitors, more attractions and as many as four locations: Aleja Kwiatowa, Pawła Adamowicza Square, Lotników Square and Bogusława Promenade on weekends.

The event will continue for three weeks, until 22 December. Each cabin at the fair offers something different.

“There will be an opportunity to do Christmas shopping, find the perfect Christmas gift or taste hot chocolate or mulled wine,” said Andrzej Kus, Press Spokesperson of the company Żegluga Szczecińska Turystyka Wydarzenia. “The fair will also feature home-made preserves, bread, select cured meat, honey and dried fruit and nuts – perfect for Christmas baked goods. Dumplings, take-out meals, łazanki square pasta with cabbage and baked potatoes are the flavours for gourmands to enjoy during the fair.”

Among this year’s exhibitors will be not only the regular attendees but also new businesses wishing to delight customers with the products.

“There will also be numerous attractions for children,” said Andrzej Kus. “They are the ones waiting for this magic winter holiday the most. Christmas wouldn’t be the same without Santa Claus. This dignified elderly man will also be present at the fair.”

In addition, the event's organisers prepared animations for older children.

The fair will be open 7 days a week, on Fridays and Saturdays by 11 p.m., and on the remaining days of the week by 8 p.m.
