Christmas is coming

350 curtain lights and over 300 pole and spatial outdoor decorations of various kind will soon illuminate Szczecin. The installation of Christmas decorations, with a smaller number of elements than in previous years, is in full swing. This year’s illumination will be launched on 6 December.
“The decorations will include horns of plenty and rings with stars,” says Hanna Pieczyńska, spokesperson of the Roads and Public Transport Authority. “A large, shining globe, which will once again be installed at the exit of the Castle Route, will certainly make a hit.”
The Christmas illumination will be lit up alongside a part of the Golden Route (Złoty Szlak) – from Żołnierza Polskiego Square to Grunwaldzki Square, a part of Wyzwolenia Avenue from Polskiego Żołnierza Square to Rodła Square, Matejki Street, Wielkopolska Street, Monte Cassino Street, Piastowski Boulevard, Zwycięstwa Square, Kwiatowa Avenue and Adamowicza Square.
