Census night at the town hall
Marta Kufel

No time during the day to participate in the Census? We have a solution for that! Ahead of us is ... the Census night at the town hall.
Many people who have not yet taken part in the National Population and Housing Census claim to have no time during the day. They are absorbed by their daily duties, as a result of which the Census becomes of secondary importance. However, under the binding regulations, it is our duty to participate. It’s worth noting that failure to fill in the Census form by 30 September may result in a fine of up to PLN 5000!
With those people in mind, another event will be held this Saturday (25 September) during which surveyors’ assistance will be offered. On that day, the Census office located in the Szczecin town hall will be open from 8 a.m. until midnight!
Another option during the Census night will be the census hotline (available on: 22 279 99 99) which, just like the Census office in the town hall, will also be open until midnight.
Before filling in the form, it’s worth checking what information you will need to make the whole process run smoothly. A detailed list is available here.
We would like to remind you that, both on working days and at weekends, you can also use the Census stands available at the City Hall (pl. Armii Krajowej 1) and its branch office (ul. Rydla 39/40), as well as at the Galaxy Shopping and Entertainment Centre (al. Wyzwolenia 18-20). Details can be found in the Public Information Bulletin of the City Hall.
