Bomb removal completed

It took sappers a few minutes to load the bomb onto a special vehicle, which then - at 6.44 - left the administrative borders of Szczecin in a column.
The evacuation of residents began as planned at 5 o'clock. A total of 46 people were evacuated, 13 of them using the buses provided. 14 residents found shelter at the Szczecin Sports Centre.
A few minutes after 6 o’clock, the sappers began removing the unexploded shell. Several dozen minutes later, the bomb left Szczecin.
The Municipal Emergency Management Centre would like to thank all residents for their cooperation with the services. At the same time, we would like to thank all the services involved in the operation for running it smoothly and professionally.
