Big changes in Szczecin Night Run

Szczecin Night Run, the route of which was to lead through the centre of Szczecin, will take place on the boulevards. Due to the epidemic-related restrictions in place, the organizers are forced to split the run into three races. The maximum number of runners in each race is 250.

The run will take place over three nights, from September 21 to 23. Participants will set out at 10 p.m. from the Starówka Quay, where the designated route starts and finishes.

The runners set off towards the Marina on Grodzka Island, then under the illuminated port cranes [Dźwigozaury] they head towards the boatswain's office on the Gdynia Boulevard and turn back there. There will be two such laps to cover.

"Participants who are not satisfied with the changes may withdraw from the race,” says Małgorzata Miszczuk, the spokesperson for the company Żegluga Szczecińska Turystyka Wydarzenia. - "To do so, you need to send in a resignation email by August 30 to the following address:   kontakt@protiming24.pl Those who do not withdraw from the run will receive a text message on August 25 informing which race they will start in.”

The packages will be distributed on September 18 from 11 am to 8 pm in front of the Tourist Information Centre at plac Żołnierza Polskiego 20. Alternatively, the participants from outside the Szczecin agglomeration or on vacation can collect the package prior to the race. Please let us know about this in advance by sending an e-mail to the following address: biegi@zstw.szczecin.pl
