A spacious two-floor building in Golęcin, along with a thousand-square-metre plot, has been put up for sale by the Nieruchomości i Opłaty Lokalne [Real Estate and Local Fees] company. The asking price is PLN 999 thousand.
The property is located at 25, Strzałowska Street, vis a vis the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour and the neighbouring hospital.
The building, with a floor area of 661 square metres, has four storeys (three above ground and one underground). The structural and partition walls are made of brick, and the façade of clinker brick, while the roof is covered with plain tile. At the rear of the building, there is a parking zone that can accommodate several cars.
Currently, a small part (one-tenth) of the building is rented by a dental clinic (with a 6-month notice period).
The property is included in the historical spatial structures conservation zone.
Based on records of the Szczecin Building Police gathered in the State Archives, the building was erected between 1925 and 1926. Before the Second World War, it belonged to Kreis-Krankenhaus ‒ the district hospital complex situated across the street. It served as a residential and administrative building. Among other things, it housed flats of the warden and medical staff.
