The start-up and acceptance stage at the Water Factory (Fabryka Wody) is underway. We are continuously working on checking all the parts of our facility. One of them is mapping in the pool basement area.
Fabryka Wody is a unique building complex. Our mission is also education, so our visitors will have a chance to take a look at the pool basement, where all the swimming pool water technology systems are hidden several metres underground in a sophisticated network of corridors.
It is here that you will find out where we take water from, how the filtration process is conducted and how we heat the facility and supply electric power. Mapping, which is currently being tested, will be of great help here. Through the peep holes you can take a look into service premises, and the installed projectors will bring the devices that you see to life. You will see animations and educational videos. In short, you will get to know the Water Factory inside out. What's most important, there are no entrance fees.
The project design was prepared by DreamWorlds by TKHolding design studio. The contractor is a consortium of companies composed of ALSTAL Grupa Budowlana sp. z o.o. sp.k. and ALSTAL Real Estate sp. z o.o. The cost of the project is over PLN 349.7 million. The contractor of the equipment for the Edukatorium exhibition is MAE MULTIMEDIA ART & EDUCATION SP. Z O.O. The cost of the exhibition is PLN 25.8 million.
