The In New Orleans project takes us back to the vibrant jazz era of the 1920s!

This unique and energetic jazz performance will transport the audience to the lively atmosphere of New Orleans jazz clubs. Dixieland, the earliest form of jazz, is known for its rhythmic vitality and melodic charm, creating an irresistibly uplifting mood. Blending this style with Polish music from the interwar period, the concert will feature iconic Polish hits such as:

Zula Pogorzelska – Ja się boję sama spać
Stefania Górska – Czy Pani Marta jest grzechu warta?
Hanka Ordonówna – Miłość ci wszystko wybaczy

Anna Nowik

Born in Szczecin, Anna Nowik is the founder of the Swing Lovers Jazz Band, a trombonist, vocalist, and trumpeter. She is a graduate of the Poznań Academy of Music, specialising in jazz trombone, choral conducting, and music education. A scholarship recipient of the Mayor of Szczecin and a laureate of jazz festivals and competitions, she has performed extensively across Denmark, Sweden, Germany, France, Belgium, Poland, and Italy.
