Intergrafia. The New Generation. Tissue and Aura
Katarzyna Jackowska

The Lentz Villa
An exhibition presenting works by artists associated with the Intergrafia Association - creators who in recent years have been increasingly shaping the face of contemporary Polish graphic art.
Although united within one organisation, they represent a range of significant graphic art centres in Poland, including Warsaw, Kraków, Szczecin and Toruń.
The exhibition focuses on two concepts contained in its subtitle—tissue and aura—understood as key aspects of graphic visual expression. The artists reflect on the relationship between the materiality of the artwork (its structure, texture and physical presence) and the auratic dimension of the image, linked to emotions, symbols and the viewer’s individual experience.
Participating artists: Oksana Budna, Nastazja Ciupa, Piotr Czyż, Filip Gajewski, Aleksandra Owczarek, Andrzej Wochnik, Kamil Zaleski, Maria Zwolińska
Curator: Magdalena Maciudzińska-Kamczycka
Techniques: artistic printmaking; works on paper and plexiglass created using various techniques, including intaglio, relief printing, screen printing, planographic printing and digital printing.
Opening reception: 12 February, 6.00 pm, admission free
