The 13th International Tourist Guide Day in Szczecin

    Plac Lotników

This year's Tourist Guide Day celebrations will refer to the most important people associated with Szczecin and will be held under the slogan ‘Personalities of Szczecin’.

On the last Saturday of February, the city's residents will have a unique opportunity to discover the character of the city, its history and the places we pass every day, together with city guides. Qualified guides will lead 30 tours in 36 groups. Tours that include admission to buildings will have a limited number of participants, so some of them will have two groups entering at different times to allow more people to visit. The tours will start on Saturday, 28 February at 11:00 a.m. from Plac Lotników and will end with an organ concert in St. James's Cathedral at 2:00 p.m. The celebrations of the 13th International Tourist Guide Day will culminate with a photo exhibition entitled ‘Migawka’ (Snapshot) - the best press photos by Szczecin photojournalists at the Museum of Technology and Communication at 5:00 p.m.

The walks will be free of charge.

Walk No. 30. Szczecin in English: a walk around the city centre with a guide in English, Piotr Ostrowski.

The event is organised by the West Pomeranian Association of Tour Leaders and Tourist Guides.
