What happens when the sensual, Latin temperament of Cuba meets the youthful energy of Szczecin’s music scene? The answer will be revealed on Valentine’s evening at the opening concert of the Willa Jazz Club series.
Appearing on stage will be:
Elizabeth Martinez - a remarkable Cuban vocalist based in Madrid, who has collaborated, among others, with three-time Grammy Award winner Carlos Sarduy
Sara Frymus - a young and exceptionally talented singer and songwriter, currently studying at the Academy of Art in Szczecin
Adam Tadel Trio - seasoned figures on Szczecin’s jazz scene, led by an outstanding double bassist
This promises to be an evening of encounters across generations, emotions and musical worlds, set within the beautifully restored interiors of Villa Lentza, and performed for an audience that truly knows and loves jazz.
