The concert Voice and Piano: Songs and Arias will combine the lyricism of art song with selected highlights from the operatic repertoire.
The programme will include Richard Wagner’s Wesendonck Lieder and Maurice Ravel’s Two Hebrew Melodies – works that present two distinct musical worlds: German Romantic song and music inspired by Jewish tradition.
The concert will be performed by Alicja Bukowska, mezzo-soprano, and Dominik Franczuk, piano. Both artists are graduates of the Feliks Nowowiejski State General Music School in Szczecin. They met while studying at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, where they developed their song repertoire together.
