Szczecin Flute Quartet – “France, with Finesse”

Katarzyna Jackowska

Community Centre “13 Muses”
This May, the Szczecin Flute Quartet invites audiences on a musical journey to early 20th-century France — a golden era for the flute, rich in compositions that explore the instrument’s lyrical charm, tonal delicacy, and virtuosic flair.
Imagine strolling leisurely through the cobbled streets of Paris, their stones still fragrant with a gentle May rain. Picture yourself settling at a Montmartre café for an espresso no larger than your thumb, yet brimming with Parisian energy, paired with a buttery, melt-in-the-mouth croissant. Take in the grandeur of Notre-Dame and the Arc de Triomphe, before escaping the bustle for a tranquil pause in the leafy Bois de Boulogne.
This concert promises to be just as delightful: a light, elegant, and effortlessly pleasurable musical feast.

- Filippo Del Noce – flute
- Anna Wojnowicz-Drężek – flute
- Magda Morus-Fijałkowska – flute, alto flute
