Helena Majdaniec Summer Theatre in Szczecin
Join us in Kasprowicz Park for the second edition of Stetinum Cantat – an international celebration of choral music, culminating in a spectacular final concert at the Helena Majdaniec Summer Theatre in Szczecin.
This year’s festival features 11 choirs performing open-air concerts in the Rose Garden on 11–12 June from 5:30 PM.
The grand finale, "Viva Chorus Opera!", takes place on 13 June at 9:00 PM, bringing together 400 choristers, guest soloists, and the orchestra of the Opera at the Castle, conducted by Małgorzata Bornowska.
The programme includes iconic choral and operatic works by master composers, such as:
– O Fortuna from Carmina Burana (Carl Orff)
– Nessun dorma from Turandot (Giacomo Puccini)
– The Gypsy Chorus from Il Trovatore (Giuseppe Verdi)
– Va, pensiero from Nabucco (Giuseppe Verdi)
– Libiamo ne’ lieti calici from La Traviata (Giuseppe Verdi)
– Cisza dokoła from The Haunted Manor (Stanisław Moniuszko)
