A Wrocław-based quartet creating unconventional music, sneaky jesus push the boundaries of traditional Polish jazz by blending it with elements of cosmic sounds and urban music.

The band consists of saxophonist Matylda Gerber, guitarist Maciej Forreiter, bassist Beniamin Łasiewicki, and drummer Michał Wdowikowski. Formed in early spring 2019, the group quickly made a strong impression on the Wrocław music scene and soon gained recognition from both Polish and international jazz and indie music media.

Their success began with the acclaimed debut album For Joseph Riddle (2021), followed by For Chaching Taphed(2023). Both records received airplay on stations such as BBC, Polskie Radio, RTE, and Worldwide FM, and were praised in publications including Jazz Forum, Jazz Press, Music Is My Sanctuary, and Bandcamp Daily.

The quartet has performed on prestigious stages across Poland and Europe, including Jassmine (Warsaw), NOSPR(Katowice), Opus Jazz Club (Budapest), and Jazz Club Tonne (Dresden). They were awarded second place at the international jazz band competition Mladi Ladi Jazz in Prague (2022) and received nominations for the Wrocław Artistic Award (2023) and Gazeta Wyborcza’s Sanki poll (2022).
