Jazz for Kids: Forest of Whispers and Miracles

We don't always need to know where we're going or what our destination is. Sometimes it's good to just go to the forest, awaken our creativity, and listen to ‘what's chirping, playing and singing in the forest?’

Jazz for Kids - Forest of Whispers and Miracles is an innovative concert format that introduces jazz and improvised music to children, combining music with storytelling. Children and parents will be able to hear songs derived from jazz music, as well as spontaneous improvisations with sounds that serve to reinforce and illustrate the spoken word. During the concert, the musicians will explore all kinds of ‘strange’ sounds together with the children and, along the way, investigate how sounds can become music. Together, we will create a space for free expression of ourselves and our emotions, and for developing creativity through rhythm, melody, sound and words.
