Żagle 2025. Note changes to traffic arrangements and public transport

Żagle 2025 (Sails), the biggest outdoor event in our city, is just around the corner. We want to highlight early on that there will be major traffic adjustments affecting the streets in the event area.

Żagle 2025 (Sails) event will take place on both banks of the Oder River. Magnificent sailing ships will be moored along the quays on each side of the river, and the workshop and activity areas, as well as the Market under the Sails stands, will be located in the area of Łasztownia and Chrobry Embankment. Hosting an event of this scale will require adjustments to road traffic and public transportation.

Some of the streets will be closed to traffic, and additional buses and trams will be provided along some routes. All this to facilitate transport to the event area and a carefree trip home.

Entry Passes

The residents living in buildings along streets subject to the changes are authorised to drive to their houses based on an entry pass. The passes will be distributed starting from August 5 at the Pass Office, at 6 Jana z Kolna St., between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

The passes grant access to three zones:

Red Zone – entry is strictly limited to the organizer’s vehicles, authorized services, and companies based in this zone. A deposit will be required for each pass, according to the current regulations.

Blue Zone – entry with parking privileges is allowed only for residents and employees of companies and institutions located on the following streets: Jarowita St., Zygmunta Starego St., Szczerbcowa St., Storrady St., Władysława IV St., and Zbożowa St. (up to the junction with Spichrzowa St.), as well as for holders of red zone passes.

Green Zone – entry with parking privileges is reserved exclusively for exhibitors on Komandorska St. and Admiralska St.

The guidelines for obtaining passes can be found on the website https://zagleszczecin.eu/o-zaglach/przepustki/
