The Pass Office, where residents and employees of companies within the Chrobry Embankment (Wały Chrobrego) and Łasztownia areas will be able to collect entrance passes, will be open until 20 August.

You are kindly informed that, due to the Sails 2023 event, some changes to traffic organisation and public transport will be introduced affecting the streets situated within the Chrobry Embankment (Wały Chrobrego) and Łasztownia areas. Both before the start and during the Sails 2023 event, the relevant authorities will take care of the order and safety of Szczecin residents and tourists. Efforts will be made to ensure that traffic organisation and public transport remain as efficient as possible despite some of the streets being temporarily closed in connection with the event.

Residents affected by traffic organisation changes will be able to access their homes upon showing an entrance pass. Entrance passes will be available for collection from 9 August at the Pass Office at 6, Jana z Kolna Street, between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm. 

TRAFFIC ORGANISATION

Temporary changes to traffic organisation in connection with the preparation and duration of the event will take place in several stages.

Stage 1 ‒ from 6 August (Wednesday) 00.01 am to 18 August (Friday) 00.01 am – the following streets will be closed:

- Zbożowa and Wendy from the junction with Spichrzowa Street,

- Admiralska,

- Wawelska from Jarowita Street to Wały Chrobrego,

- Komandorska,

- Wały Chrobrego,

- Henryka Pobożnego at a section from Zygmunta Starego Street to Szczerbcowa Street,

- Małopolska from Jarowita Street towards Jana z Kolna Street,

Stage 2 ‒ from 18 August (Friday) 00.01 am to  21 August (Monday) 05.00 am – the following streets will be closed:

- Władysława IV from Świętego Floriana Street to Spichrzowa Street. Access will only be allowed to vehicles bearing entrance passes,

- Celna ‒ access will only be allowed to vehicles bearing entrance passes,

- Zbożowa. At a section to Spichrzowa Street, traffic will only be allowed to vehicles bearing entrance passes,

- Zygmunta Starego from Jarowita Street to Wały Chrobrego. At a section from Jarowita Street to Henryka Pobożnego Street, traffic will only be allowed to vehicles bearing entrance passes. At a section from Starzyńskiego Street to Henryka Pobożnego Street, one-way traffic organisation will be introduced,

- A TAXI rank will be established on Zygmunta Starego Street, at a section from Starzyńskiego Street to Matejki Street,

- Szczerbcowa from Jarowita Street to Wały Chrobrego. At a section from Jarowita Street to Henryka Pobożnego Street, traffic will only be allowed to vehicles bearing entrance passes. At a section from Henryka Pobożnego Street to Starzyńskiego Street, one-way traffic organisation will be introduced,

- Henryka Pobożnego from Zygmunta Starego Street to Szczerbcowa Street. At a section from Wawelska Street to Szczerbcowa Street, one-way traffic organisation will be introduced,

- restricted traffic on Jarowita Street. Access will only be allowed to vehicles bearing entrance passes, at a section from Zygmunta Starego Street to Szczerbcowa Street – fully closed,

- Małopolska from Jarowita Street to Komandorska Street,

- Wawelska from Jarowita Street to Wały Chrobrego,

- Wały Chrobrego,

- Komandorska,

- Admiralska, 

Stage 3 ‒ from 21 August (Monday) 05.00 am to 22 August (Tuesday) 05.00 am – the following streets will be closed:

- Wendy and Zbożowa from the junction with Spichrzowa Street,

- Wały Chrobrego,

- Komandorska,

- Admiralska,

- Małopolska from Jarowita Street to Komandorska Street,

- Wawelska from Jarowita Street to Wały Chrobrego,

- Henryka Pobożnego at a section from Zygmunta Starego Street to Szczerbcowa Street.

Regular traffic organisation will be restored on 22 August (Tuesday) by  05.00 am.

URBAN TRANSPORT

You are encouraged to leave your car in the car park and use public transport.

For the duration of the event, bus and tram service on selected lines will be extended to make it easier for residents to return home after the event. Public transport will be enhanced during the event, with additional tram and bus service launched at the request of the Traffic Headquarters of the Urban Roads and Transport Authority.

After the buses reach their final stops, their returns to the Basen Górniczy, Ułanów Podolskich, Turkusowa or Centrum stops will take place as technical drives, without passenger service, using the shortest possible route (except for lines 64 and B).
