Miasto podjęło decyzję o przeznaczeniu 100 tys. zł na zakup testów na koronawirusa dla medyków. Tzw. "biały personel" to osoby, które obecnie są najbardziej narażone na ewentualne zarażenie COVID-19. Ratując zdrowie i życie innych ludzi, każdego dnia ponoszą wielkie ryzyko. Dlatego, aby poprawić komfort ich pracy, miasto zadecydowało o uruchomieniu puli środków, które będą dedykowane tylko im.
- To pierwsza partia pięniedzy dla tych, ktorzy są na pierwszej linii frontu.Ta akcja bedzie jeszcze poszerzana, więc mam nadzieję że lekarze, pielęgniarki, ratownicy czy diagności, dzięki temu bedą czuć się bezpiecznej. Takie badania na obecność koronawirusa powinni mieć robione cyklicznie. Po to, żeby oni i ich rodziny były spokojniejsze, ale tez żeby pacjenci wiedzieli, że personel szpitala jest zdrowy - mówi Piotr Krzystek, prezydent Szczecina.
O podziale środków i dokładnym ich przeznaczeniu decydować będą Okręgowa Izba Lekarska oraz szczecińskie szpitale.

Coronavirus #38 – a test for a medic
The city decided to allocate 100 000 PLN for the purchase of coronavirus tests for medics. Medical personnel is currently the most exposed to possible COVID-19 infection of us all. Saving the health and lives of other people, they take great risks every day. Therefore, to improve their comfort of work, the City decided to launch a pool of funds dedicated to them only.
- This is the first part of money for those who are on the front line. This campaign will be further expanded, so I hope that doctors, nurses, rescuers or diagnosticians will feel safe. Such testing should be regularly repeated so they and their families can worry less and patients be assured the hospital’s personnel is healthy - says Piotr Krzystek, Mayor of Szczecin.
The Regional Medical Chamber and Szczecin hospitals will decide about the distribution of the funds and their exact purpose.
