Which trees reign over Szczecin's parks?

This year we will submit 25 local projects and 1 city-wide project to the implementation stage! Congratulations to the authors of winning projects! Thank you for every vote cast.

In this year's edition of the Szczecin Participatory Budget, the residents could choose from amongst 153 projects which had been placed on the voting list (39 city-wide projects and 114 local projects). The pool of funds earmarked for residents’ projects is PLN 17,520,000.

“We hope that this year's results will be a nice Christmas accent to many residents,” said Magdalena Błaszczyk, Director of the Civil Dialogue Department. “This year we have as many as 26 winners in their respective categories, and each of these projects is unique, as the residents themselves decided on their victory.

A project called “Common Hospice House” won in the city-wide category, gathering 8187 votes. As regards local projects, the greatest number of votes was cast for the project entitled “HEAD NORTH - GREEN BIKER-FRIENDLY HOUSING ESTATES - City Bike System, Doggy Clearing, Flowery Meadow, Eco Mural, Camera Traps to Track Illegal Waste Disposal in the Golęcino-Gocław and Żelechowa area”, which obtained 2617 votes. Due to fact that the pool of funds allocated for a given local area have not been exhausted, two projects will be implemented in three local areas. This is the case of projects in such areas as Gumeńce, Śródmieście-Zachód and Pomorzany.
