From today (the 15th of May) Szczecin's Tourist Information Centres have been opened on Żołnierza Polskiego Square and Main Railway Station. They will operate based on new sanitary rules.
Customers will be served from behind a transparent protective shield mounted above the counter. After each visit, the door handles, handrail and counter surfaces will be disinfected. Workers will use gloves, face masks or visors.
- Customer service time will be kept to a minimum and printed information materials will be handed by the staff - says Małgorzata Miszczuk, spokesperson for Żegluga Szczecińska Tourism Events. - After each use of the payment terminal, it will be disinfected. The allowed number of people being simultaneously in the building will also decrease.
Under the new rules, a maximum of two employees and one customer may stay at the Tourist Information Centre.
